Twilight Solitaire TriPeaks is a card game with horror themes. The player is tasked with winning 200 normal, timed and hard TriPeaks card games. Their main goal is to earn enough gemstones to build structures in spooky scenes at locations found on a winding path that they navigate with an ancient map. They also attempt to win rewards, including coins, silver stars, and achievement titles and trophies.
Locations on the map include Twilight Manor, Swamp Tavern, Ravenpine Lodge and Willowshade Hall. The player needs a specific number of gems per build. The gems are hidden behind layers of face-down and face-up cards at the center of each card game screen.
The player uses a deck pile and a foundation pile to remove the cards. They can only select cards that have values one higher or lower than the foundation pile card, such as a King or 2 card when there's an Ace.
The selected card moves to the foundation. On some levels, the player reveals and uses special cards to change the status of other cards as well. For example, they might use a key card to remove a lock card.
Any gems hidden behind standard and special cards transfer to the bottom-right corner. Gold coins hidden behind cards or rewarded for any remaining deck cards also appear in this spot. The player can double their coins at the end of a level by viewing an advertisement.
Twilight Solitaire TriPeaks offers several power-up options in the shop, including access to three extra cards, removal of a random or selected card, the ability to flip some face-down cards, wild cards and jokers. The player uses their coins to purchase these tools.
